It’s also a lot easier to get caught up in the emotion of the scene (poor wolf and fairy). But that aspect isn’t noticeable on audio. I remember not being particularly impressed with the writing style when I first read it. Certain action descriptions written in the book that raised red flags for me are instead acted out on audio and don’t seem as concerning. It is so cool to listen to this type of audiobook. This time around I chose a different format and am listening to the graphic audio version of the book. This is my first time buddy reading with anyone and it’s pretty fun. But to do so, she must kill the predator and killing. So when she spots a deer in the forest being pursued by a wolf, she cannot resist fighting it for the flesh.
